We offer a annual $1000-$4000 Summer Sponsorship Award for students interested in working overseas. Our Award is need and academic-based, and targets college students of color who are a) interested in careers in business, finance, non-profit management, marketing, law or journalism and b) seeking to complete unpaid or underpaid a summer internship that is directly or indirectly related to these fields.

International Internships Scholarship
Fund for Education Abroad
This scholarship was designed to open doors for deserving students who wish to seek education abroad. FEA awards funds for students planning to study abroad on any academically rigorous programs in English or non-English speaking countries.
Scholarships offered from $100 – $500! Must provide a letter of recommendation and two essays and possess a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Benjamin A Gilman International Scholarship
This award allows for students with limited finances to study or intern abroad. The scholarship award ranges from $100-$5,000.
Requirements to qualify for this scholarship program:
- U.S. citizen
- Undergraduate student at an accredited 2 year or 4 year university in the Untied States (must be in good standing).
- Receiving a Federal Pell Grant during the time of application
- Applying to or accepted into a credit bearing study abroad or internship abroad program or a virtual internship program.

TRAVELING WITH MEDICATION: DO’S AND DON’TS
Traveling with medication can be a tricky thing, especially if you’ll be gone for an extended amount of time and need to pack a month’s supply (or more) with you. Visit this website and type in “medication” to the search bar in the middle of the page (What can I bring? TSA.gov). This website will explain what medication you can pack in your carry on and what needs to be placed in your checked luggage.

Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) – this is another resource from the U.S. Department of State for anyone traveling to or living in a foreign country. Registering will enable you to get routine information from your nearest American Embassy or Consulate while abroad and they will be better able to assist you in an emergency.
